Dr Kemal Ajay
Kemal Ajay is an electronics engineer with additional postgraduate qualifications in Computer Science and extensive experience in hardware design and software systems development. Kemal is Netway's engineering manager and has been responsible for most of the company's in-vehicle computer systems. Kemal has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Monash University and has also acted as a R&D project manager for the department of Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering, where he was appointed a Senior Research Fellow.
Enno Davids
Enno Davids is a computer scientist with a wide range of experience in real-time computer systems, data communications protocols and software engineering. Enno is Netway's software manager and is responsible for the development of the Netpath GIS sub-system, a GIS system custom designed for AVL applications.
James Barry
James Barry, a founding Director of our company, trained as a Radio Frequency (RF) systems specialist with the RAF, where he held responsibility for operations and maintenance of various key communication centres around the globe, and has past history with Motorola Communications, Plessey Australia, and Vinten Communications.
Jim sat on the SMA Radio Consultative Council, which was the primary consultative body to the Spectrum Management Agency in matters of Spectrum Management, as industry delegate for the National Radio Site Operators and Users Association (RSOUA).
He was awarded the prestigious Jonathan Livingston Seagull Award in 1998, and continues in his retirement as a valued consultant to our company.
James Kelly
James Kelly joins the JRD Group in the role of Manager - Commercial, and has an extensive history in the area of sales and marketing outside our industry. Rather than considering the lack of radio industry exposure as an issue, James has embraced communications technology, and has developed some new areas of interest, both in terms of market and technology applications. He is dedicated to providing cost effective solutions to the needs of our clients, and is a welcome and most capable addition to the JRD family.
Robert K. (Bob) Rogers
Bob Rogers, a founding Director, trained at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, where he specialised in Radio Frequency and Electronic systems, and also has extensive experience in automotive electronic and management systems.
He is the JRD Group CEO and is responsible for overseeing radio system design, RF site planning and the engineering management and co-ordination of major projects.
His areas of specialisation include synchronous simulcast and MPT1327 trunked radio systems.
Past working history includes Plessey Australia and Vinten Communications, and he has served as industry delegate to the Interference Working Party of the Radio Consultative Council for the Australian Communications Authority (formerly Spectrum Management Agency).
He was involved with Standards Australia on revision of Australian Standard AS3516 (Siting of Radio Communications Facilities), continues to serve as a member of RMIT University's School of Engineering Associate Degree Industry Advisory Committee, is Chair of the Electrotechnology Industry Advisory Committee and has key involvement in industry training reforms.
He works in an advisory capacity to the committee of the Australian Radio Communications Industry Association, (ARCIA) and is actively involved in the development of that organisation.
He was involved in 2006 in CITT working groups resulting in the development of the Certificate IV in Telecommunications – Radio Communications.
He holds ACMA Accreditation under subsection 263(1) of the Radiocommunications Act 1992, was awarded the prestigious Radiocommunication Industry's Jonathan Livingston Seagull Award in 2005, and was appointed as an Associate of RMIT University in 2006.
He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) with membership of the following societies:

He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Stephen Pattinson
Stephen is an electronics engineer with experience in small business management, finance and R&D management. In addition to activities related to the management of Netway, Stephen is also involved in the company's research and development program and is responsible for many aspects of the Netpath Vehicle Tracking System design and development. Stephen is active in the ITS industry and has also has considerable experience in GPS and AVL systems.
Stephen Reining
Stephen trained at Royal Melbourne Institute in Technology, and has in excess of twenty years experience in specialist radio communications and holds qualifications in Telecommunications Engineering
As JRD's technical services manager, he is responsible for service management, and the installation and commissioning of key projects.
Stephen has an unbridled passion for radio communications, and has commissioned and maintains, as a private pastime, the largest private (non-WIA owned) amateur radio repeater network in Australia, covering amateur bands from 10 metres through to 23 centimetres.
His commitment to technical excellence has seen the successful commissioning of projects such as Melbourne Water Synchronous, Victoria Police M1 Synchronous, and recent works for Metropolitan Ambulance Service.
Stephen was the recipient of the inaugural ARCIA (Australian Radio Communications Industry Association) award for technical excellence in 2006.
